INTIMATE REJUVENATION: HYALURONIC ACID INJECTIONS

With age, following pregnancies, at the time of menopause, the tissues of the intimate area in women can lose their pulpiness and atrophy.

INJECTIONS AGAINST VAGINAL DRYNESS

Vaginal dryness can really cause physical and moral suffering, and the injection of hyaluronic acid is an adequate solution, and is carried out at Dr HAVET’s office.

Dr. HAVET will first perform a local anesthesia (like at the dentist), making the session completely painless. He will then perform several micro-injections in the posterior vaginal wall with the needle. The session is quick, and you can resume your normal activities right after.

The objective of a session of HA injections in the vagina is to allow a rehydration of the tissues during several months. In addition, the hyaluronic acid injected helps to revascularize the area and oxygenate it. In addition, hyaluronic acid will protect the vaginal flora and balance its PH thus limiting the risk of infections.

AUGMENTATION OF THE LABIA MAJORA BY INJECTION OF HYALURONIC ACID

The loss of volume of the labia majora does not only lead to aesthetic complexes!

From a medical point of view, atrophied labia no longer protect the labia minora, which are then exposed to external friction, which can cause discomfort and pain. WHAT ARE THE CONSEQUENCES?

They are simple. However, it is advisable to avoid sexual intercourse for 3 days following the injection, whether it is after a treatment for vaginal dryness or to plump up the labia majora,

As for the labia majora, they may show some swelling in the days following the injection. This is perfectly normal with hyaluronic acid, and the swelling resolves itself. The result, although immediate, is really appreciable one week after the injection with fuller and plumper lips, as if rejuvenated.

The result lasts one year, it is possible to repeat the treatment to maintain the benefits.

WHAT ARE THE CONTRAINDICATIONS TO INJECTIONS IN THE INTIMATE AREAS?

Hyaluronic acid is a product that is very well tolerated and entirely resorbable, so there are few contraindications. An injection of hyaluronic acid in the vagina or to increase the size of the labia majora is however not recommended for women:

• Suffering from autoimmune diseases
• With ongoing viral infections (mycosis, vaginosis, herpes…)
• Pregnant or nursing
